The Rothman Institute is pleased to welcome three new physicians to its team of specialty trained orthopaedists. The Rothman Institute now has more than 50 physicians on staff who specialize in treating injuries and disorders of the shoulder, hand and elbow, hip, knee, foot and ankle, and spine.

The new physicians are:

	Charles L. Getz, M.D. Dr. Getz’s expertise is in the shoulder and elbow. He received a fellowship in shoulder and elbow surgery from the University of Pennsylvania. A consulting editor for the Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery, Dr. Getz has numerous articles published and has lectured extensively on shoulder and elbow surgery.
	Ravi Kumar Ponnappan, M.D. Dr. Ponnappan specializes in spine care. He completed advanced fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. He has numerous articles published on spinal injuries and treatments.
	Matthew L. Ramsey, M.D. Focusing on the evaluation and treatment of shoulder injuries, Dr. Ramsey has extensive experience and advanced fellowship training in shoulder surgery. He is chief of Shoulder and Elbow Service at the University of Pennsylvania Department of Orthopaedic Surgery.
