Heartland Orthopedic Specialists Were Featured at Annual Conference

The American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, AAOS, chose Erin McCoy, joint care coordinator, and Dr. Jefferson C. Brand, sports medicine expert at Heartland Orthopedic Specialists, to be poster presenters at the 2012 AAOS Annual Meeting, which was held February 7-11 at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, California.

Erin McCoy and Dr. Brand shared their knowledge and expertise by educating other medical professionals from around the world, including China, at the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting.

Poster presentations are designed to provide attendees with an interactive learning experience. Following the display of posters, Dr. Brand and Erin McCoy had the opportunity to discuss their posters with attendees, providing a good exchange of information and feedback.

"Erin and I were honored to have been chosen," explains Dr. Brand, "and enjoyed participating in the 2012 American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons annual meeting."
